About the Programme 

Dance: Communication medium before the development of verbal expression, focusing on physical expression.

Contemporary Dance: Appears to be abstract. Nevertheless, everyone can participate through accessible and inclusive practice.  It is an art form that emphasizes expression without limited genres.

Observing Dance, Sensing Dance, organised by City Contemporary Dance Company, will illustrate the integration of stage elements to create an exclusive contemporary dance through high-quality demonstrations and guided tours, to introduce the characteristics and appreciation direction of contemporary dance, and cultivate the individual qualities in terms of cultural accomplishment and enhance the concept in connection with dance aesthetics.  Through the sharing session, students will learn about the choreographer's mind map and creative experience, such as discovering creative inspiration, exploring and conveying imagery, integrating the metaphor with images, developing overall ideas, and connecting body language......

Hope participants could rediscover the power of expression through body movements after enjoying the performance.
