PAM02 | Ma Wai Him x Jazzbird "When Suona Meets Jazz" (Completed)parent

About the Programme

"When Suona Meets Jazz" offers a fusion of various music genres, combining traditional and pop pieces from China and overseas.  These concerts highlight the blending of ethnic flavours, modern jazz harmonies, rhythmic expressions, and improvisation techniques, using a combination of Chinese and Western instruments.  The band aims to take students on a cross-cultural musical journey, deepening their understanding of both Chinese and Western music.  With diverse musical styles and interactive elements, the concerts provide an engaging and educational experience for students, fostering a greater appreciation for the rich musical traditions of both cultures.
