About the Programme 

The Neverending Maze is an interactive musical adventure for young audiences composed by Mathias Madsen Munch and based on the concepts of adventure games, problem solving and role playing.  Performed by a vocalist/narrator on keytar and a solo string quartet with chamber orchestra, audience members will have the exciting opportunity to help the characters of the story find a way out of the maze, thereby determining their final destiny.

About the Artist and Arts Group

Mathias Madsen Munch is a Danish composer, artist and musical entrepreneur.  He specializes in creating interactive format performances, both indoor and outdoor.  He composes for concert houses, symphony orchestras, theme parks, visual content creators and for a diverse range of producers from both the tourism and cultural sectors.  His music has gained international recognition through partnerships with the Danish Cultural Institute in Brazil, Latvia and Russia.  Mathias Madsen Munch holds a Masters degree in film scoring from the Danish National Academy of Music, a Masters degree in educational psychology from the Aarhus University and a Bachelor degree in musicology and psychology from the University of Copenhagen.  He is currently the vice chairman of DSP (Danish Songwriters and Producers).

City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong (CCOHK) holds a unique position as one of Asia's leading chamber orchestras.  Founded by oboist Leanne Nicholls in 1999, CCOHK has performed with many of the world's most distinguished artists.  CCOHK's passion for building young audiences for music has inspired the creation of several newly curated and award winning productions including Bug Symphony, WILD (The Musical) and Shark Symphony.  Since July 2024 CCOHK is the recipient of the Hong Kong Arts Development Council's Eminent Arts Group Scheme.
