A: Tour of the Hong Kong Film Archive (HKAF)'s permanent exhibition 'In Memory of Queen's Theatre' and the following thematic exhibitions:

1. Legends of HK Film Comedies, 1980s and 1990s (September – October 2025)

Hong Kong comedies of the 1980s and 1990s were beloved by audiences everywhere and continue to delight audiences of today.  A wide selection of highlights from the films will be presented in this exhibition.  A recreation of 1980s karaoke chambers features memorable songs from the films, providing an intimate environment for visitors to experience the cheerful atmosphere on screen.  In-depth analysis of the films is also offered by renowned actors and behind-the-scene filmmakers in oral history interviews, revealing the essence of Hong Kong humour by offering insights on scriptwriting, joke execution and acting techniques.  The exhibition also showcases cherished posters alongside a photo-op area with a classic comedy scene as background, transporting visitors into an immersive experience of joy and mirth.

2. 75 Years of Glamour –Film Stills of Great Wall, Feng Huang, Sun Luen and Sil-Metropole (January 2026)

From the restructuring of Great Wall Movie Enterprises Ltd in 1950 and its subsequent merging with Feng Huang Motion Picture Co and Sun Luen Film Company into Sil-Metropole Organisation Ltd in 1982, the year 2025 marks the 75th anniversary of Sil-Metropole.  From the 1950s to the present, the company has produced countless outstanding films and is a force to be reckoned with in the Hong Kong film industry.  This exhibition showcases many valuable and rarely seen film stills of Sil-Metropole productions alongside other promotional materials such as posters and brochures.  It is a unique opportunity to experience and learn more about Sil-Metropole's illustrious history, from its many excellent productions to the charismatic performers who starred in them.

B: Screening of a video introducing the work of the HKFA followed by a talk on film repair and conservation work by film conservators and technicians at the Cinema, HKFA.
