TW02 | Training Seminar for Teachers: Utilising Drama Approaches to Allow Stories to Come Alive in Teaching by Class 7A Drama Group


About the workshop

Whether in language, moral education or library lessons, teachers often use storytelling in teaching.  The Artistic Director of Class 7A Drama Group, Dr Leung Shing-him (aka Yatyau) will share the experiences of theatres applying drama approaches to reading instruction over the years in this seminar.  And demonstrations of teaching process employing drama approaches assisted by teaching assistants will be included.  By doing so, teachers can be comprehensively supported in mastering the design and implementation of drama approaches in teaching, enabling them to apply these approaches to the teaching of various stories and even classical Chinese poetry.

Application can be submitted online through the "Art Connect: Arts and Culture Platform for Hong Kong Schools" under the webpage of "New to the Theatre : School Culture Day Scheme 2025/26".  Limited quota will be offered on a first-come-first-served basis.
